A first taste
A teaser, not the manual — full guides live on the future Code site and in the repo.
def const name (str) = "Luca"
def var visits (int) = 1
if visits is >= to 1 then :
print("Hello, {name} — visit {visits}")
Core ideas
What makes Luca Code feel like Luca Code.
Bindings with intent
def var vs def const, optional types, none for absence, change and forget when meaning shifts. One binding per name per scope — collisions are errors, not surprises.
Collections that read naturally
Lists, tuples, sets, and dicts with 1-based indexing, .add / .remove / .contains / .length, and content-based equality.
Errors you can catch
try to / capture error / finally, plus custom errors via def error and raise Name(...) with inspectable fields.
Modules plus a real library
import Name with namespaces, and built-ins: Math, Text, File, System — including ask input and System.args / env.
